For the visible fastening of terrace boardsThe wooden terrace substructure is individually suitable for visible and invisible fastening of the terrace boards. The Dista strip 2.0 can be used for the visible fastening of terraces. It acts as a spacer and provides 7 mm of movement between the panel and the substructure. At the same time, the air circulation under the terrace is promoted by the spacer bar to prevent rotting. For the assembly normal wood screws, such as. B. Terrassotec screws are used.Shear of the screws is prevented by the Dista-strip 2.0 made of hard plastic. The shearing is caused by the swelling and shrinking of the wood. Working of the wood is particularly pronounced in the transverse direction. For this reason, the screw can break off under load. The Dista bar 2.0 should prevent this.Material: Hard plasticAdvantages Reduces the shearing off of fastening screws Supports constructive wood protection Weatherproof Instructions for useThe Dista bar 2.0 is fixed and fixed with Terrassotec screws Ø 4 mm in the holes provided. 5 Terrassotec screws are required for a spacer bar.Important: For hardwoods / tropical woods you should always pre-drill!* Screws are not included in the scope of delivery. Fastening with Terrassotec Ø 4 mm.

Eurotec terrace gliders
for invisible fastening of decking boardsThe decking glider allows decking boards to be fastened indirectly / invisibly. This means that no screw heads are visible on the decking surface. This fastener is suitable for decking boards with side grooves as well as those without side grooves. The decking glider can be used either in combination with classic wooden substructures or with our modern aluminium system profile and HKP aluminium decking support system.AdvantagesIndirect/ invisible fastening solution
Supports constructive wood protection
Weather-resistant
Application notes
We recommend using the decking glide only with low-movement decking.
Low-movement decking includes the following types of wood, treatment methods and composite materials:
Larch
Douglas fir
Wood-polymer composites (WPC)
Thermowoods made from softwoods & hardwoodsAcetylated woodThe use of decking gliders is not recommended for woods with high bulk density and/or high swelling and shrinkage and only moderate stability (dimensional stability). This applies in particular to the wood species cumarú, ipé, massaranduba and robinia (false acacia). When selecting wood, particular emphasis should also be placed on good cut sorting (including sorting out boards with interlocking growth and so-called "fladder boards") as well as good conditioning (setting the equalisation moisture content) of the decking boards.Furthermore, a joint dimension between the boards that is matched to the type of wood, wood moisture and board width is essential for a durable construction. Information on this can be obtained from your timber dealer. The decking glide is available in two versions:Decking glideBoard width: 80 - 160 mmBoard thickness: 20 - 30 mmDecking glide MiniPlank width: 90 - 100 mmPlank thickness: ≥20 mmProcessing:To fasten the boards, the glides are first screwed to the underside of the boards and then to the substructure from above. This type of fastening avoids a direct connection between the decking boards and the substructure. The decking boards therefore have greater freedom of movement (via the decking glide). We recommend using two screws per decking glide for fastening the decking glide to the board and two screws for fastening the decking glide to the substructure. For the Mini decking glider, you should use two screws for fastening the Mini decking glider to the board and one screw for fastening it to the substructure.

For decking screws Ø 5 and 5.5 mmDrilling diameter: 4.7 mmDrilling depth: 25 mmShank diameter: 7 mmPre-drilling is highly recommended for fastening tropical woods/hardwoods. This is also advisable for Douglas fir wood, which is relatively easy to split, and when screwing close to the end grain.- Drilling and countersinking in one operation- Screw-in torque for setting Terrassotec and Hapatec screws is greatly reduced, i.e. no more tearing off of the screws, especially with hardwood/stainless steel V2A or V4A combinations- Perfect fit of the screw head

Eurotec T-Stick
Eurotec T-Stick
T-Stick Variante: A2 für Holz UK
The T-Stick is suitable for fastening side-grooved decking made of low-movement wood types or WPC to substructures made of wood or aluminium. The T-Stick is inserted between two wooden boards and fastened in the board groove with a stainless steel clamping plate. The clamping plate is screwed to the substructure with a stainless steel screw between the joints. The spacer domes ensure an even joint spacing of 5 mm between the boards. The distance of approx. 9 mm between the boards and the substructure allows good ventilation and can significantly increase the service life of the entire decking. Advantages Indirect/ invisible fastening solution Readjustment and replacement of individual boards is possible at any time. Compatible with classic timber substructures as well as our modern aluminium system profile and the HKP decking support system Uniform plank spacing Supports constructive wood protection Weather-resistant Instructions for use The T-Stick may only be used for low-movement decking.
