Eurotec decking StarterClip incl. screws

Product information "Eurotec decking StarterClip incl. screws"

Aluminium system profile Decking support system HKP Terrace gliders/ Terrace gliders Mini T-Stick Tenax spacer

If decking is to be fastened indirectly/invisibly, the edge connection to buildings (e.g. houses or walls) poses a particular challenge.
The Eurotec StarterClip was specially developed for these edge connections.
Advantages
Indirect, non-visible fastening solution for edge connections
Supports structural wood protection thanks to approx. 10 mm plank spacing to the substructure
Weather-resistant
Instructions for use
The StarterClip may only be used for low-movement decking. Low-movement decking includes the following types of wood, treatment methods and composite materials:
Larch
Douglas fir
Wood-polymer composites (WPC)
Thermowoods made from softwoods & hardwoods
Acetylated wood
The use of StarterClips is not recommended for woods with high bulk density and/or high swelling and shrinkage and only moderate stability (dimensional stability). This applies in particular to Cumarú, Ipé, Massaranduba and Robinia (false acacia).
When selecting wood, particular importance should also be attached to good cutting sorting (including sorting out boards with interlocking growth and so-called "flader boards") as well as good conditioning (setting the equalising moisture content) of the decking boards.
If necessary, the suitability of the wood type must be determined by the manufacturer/wood supplier.
The Eurotec StarterClip is suitable in combination with the following products:

Aluminium system profile
Decking support system HKP
Terrace gliders/ Terrace gliders Mini
T-Stick
Tenax spacer

Eurotec T-Stick
Eurotec T-Stick
T-Stick Variante: A2 für Holz UK
The T-Stick is suitable for fastening side-grooved decking made of low-movement wood types or WPC to substructures made of wood or aluminium. The T-Stick is inserted between two wooden boards and fastened in the board groove with a stainless steel clamping plate. The clamping plate is screwed to the substructure with a stainless steel screw between the joints. The spacer domes ensure an even joint spacing of 5 mm between the boards. The distance of approx. 9 mm between the boards and the substructure allows good ventilation and can significantly increase the service life of the entire decking. Advantages Indirect/ invisible fastening solution Readjustment and replacement of individual boards is possible at any time. Compatible with classic timber substructures as well as our modern aluminium system profile and the HKP decking support system Uniform plank spacing Supports constructive wood protection Weather-resistant Instructions for use The T-Stick may only be used for low-movement decking.

Eurotec terrace gliders
for invisible fastening of decking boardsThe decking glider allows decking boards to be fastened indirectly / invisibly. This means that no screw heads are visible on the decking surface. This fastener is suitable for decking boards with side grooves as well as those without side grooves. The decking glider can be used either in combination with classic wooden substructures or with our modern aluminium system profile and HKP aluminium decking support system.AdvantagesIndirect/ invisible fastening solution

Application notes
We recommend using the decking glide only with low-movement decking.

Information on this can be obtained from your timber dealer. The decking glide is available in two versions:Decking glideBoard width: 80 - 160 mmBoard thickness: 20 - 30 mmDecking glide MiniPlank width: 90 - 100 mmPlank thickness: ≥20 mmProcessing:To fasten the boards, the glides are first screwed to the underside of the boards and then to the substructure from above. This type of fastening avoids a direct connection between the decking boards and the substructure. The decking boards therefore have greater freedom of movement (via the decking glide). We recommend using two screws per decking glide for fastening the decking glide to the board and two screws for fastening the decking glide to the substructure. For the Mini decking glider, you should use two screws for fastening the Mini decking glider to the board and one screw for fastening it to the substructure.

SIHGA GleitFix AE
SIHGA® GleitFix® AE
SIHGA GleitFix is a further development of the SIHGA DielenFix.Now also for start and end boardsNew are special fasteners for the start and end of a terrace. With GleitFix AE, Sihga has also succeeded in screwing these boards invisibly from below. In this case, a metal spring, which is screwed onto the underside of the board, is threaded into a glass-fiber-reinforced plastic plate which is fastened to the substructure. A special balancing system takes into account the swelling and shrinkage behavior of the wood. Now the edgeboards have the same look and longevity as the rest of the terrace. The successor to the DielenFix is a one-part system, which is fastened to the underside of the floor with three screws. The clip connection between the two glass fiber reinforced plastic plates facilitates the alignment of the fastening. Compared to the DielenFix, the system saves a stainless steel drill screw per attachment. SIHGA GleitFix GF can be used for nearly all types of wood with a width between 90 and 150 mm.Its height has been raised from 6 to 8 mm, which ensures perfect structural protection for the substructure and guarantees an optimal aerated terrace - a key criterion for the service life of terraces. The use: fastened planks not visible screwed; produced, developed and patented in Austria gives elegant appearance and safety of the screw suitable for almost all types of wood reduces errors on site upon delivery of the material; thereby bringing time savings and reduced storage costs Made of SIHGAMID®, the fiberglass-reinforced plastic from the Space Exploration secured more durable than stainless steel, even when säurehältigen woods; is extremely strong, heat, frost and UV-resistant; no material fatigue Floorboards remain intact at all visible surfaces the woods are screwed from below, which gives longer shelf life and prevents putrefaction and the direct influence of weather like swelling and shrinkage of the wood from operations reduces the crack and fracture behavior of wood in these natural processes Choice of three screw lengths Possible use for all common hallway strengths 19-40 mm variable visible joint 0-15 mm, for each suitable builders Height, material thickness 8 mm for optimum aeration and ensures optimum constructive wood protection at GleitFix® AE CS A4 screws are enclosed time-saving, convenient, accurate and matching SIHGAFIX® prevents rust and rust and stainless steel A4 BohrFix® for saltwater and chlorine environment Included SIHGAFIX® stainless, hardened stainless steel BohrFix® with drill bit and installation instructions no rust, no tearing or rupture of the screws; time-saving, convenient, accurate, all accessories accompanies SIHGA® TIP: MAGBIT® facilitates assembly For optimum adaptation to the type of wood of the boards or on the weathering situation of DielenFix® is produced with different fastening screws:Type GleitFix® AE incl.
