The KONEKTO T is a concealed, side-fixing clip system designed for a simple, fast, and secure installation of concave side grooved types of decking boards.
Key Features & Benefits
- Simple & Secure Installation: The decking board is simply pressed onto the base plate, where it is clamped into place via four flexible grips that engage with the board's side groove.
- Independent Floating Points: The system features four independent gliding points that work separately, allowing for individual movement of each board.
- Accommodates Wood Movement:
- The clip is screwed directly into the substructure through the base plate, preventing the fastener from blocking the natural expansion and contraction of the wood in the gaps between boards.
- Two integrated gap spacers ensure a consistent gap width (6.3 mm).
- The system can compensate for expansion of up to 3.0 mm per board.
- Prevents "Chain Reaction": Each board moves independently, so expansion or contraction is not transferred to neighboring boards, preventing issues across the entire deck surface.
- Versatile Substructure: Can be installed on wooden, wood-based, or aluminium substructures.
